shanghai association for quality official wechat: 2nd ciie international quality innovation forum held in shanghai
on november 8, 2019, the international quality innovation forum, as a supporting activity of the second china international import expo (ciie), under the theme of "quality innovation promoting global sustainable development", was held in shanghai. thanks to the support and guidance of quality development bureau of state administration for market regulation, shanghai municipal administration for market regulation, shanghai municipal commission of commerce and shanghai municipal foreign affairs office, the forum was sponsored by shanghai association for quality, co-organized by sep, bright dairy co., ltd., microport medical devices (group) co., ltd. and volvo construction equipment (china) co., ltd.
a total of around 300 representatives, including domestic and foreign experts and scholars, entrepreneurs based in the yangtze river delta region, and those from government departments, international quality organizations, chinese and foreign enterprises, scientific research institutions, technical organizations and industrial associations, joined in the forum.
sep chairman wang yundan delivered a speech titled "fulfilling social responsibility, sharing a bright future", which introduced the company's practice in performing social responsibility and building a world-class clean energy enterprise with global competitiveness vigorously, and shared the unremitting efforts to establish the brand and promote the sustainable development by the electric power industry.
the forum participants reached consensus that sustainable development requires global governance and sharing, that quality innovation is the fundamental way to achieve sustainable development, and that opening up and cooperation is the common demand to enhance quality innovation capacity.
