this year marks the 30th national energy conservation publicity week. on june 28, shanghai opened its energy conservation publicity week officially, which announced the honorable list of "top ten events" with the most significant milestones in the key area of energy conservation in shanghai from 1991 to 2020. sep caojing cogeneration was selected for its outstanding contribution in the field of energy conservation and emission reduction, which is the only gas-fired power plant to win this award.
as an important supporting project for the integration of circular economy in shanghai chemical industry park, the world's second largest and asia's largest industry park, caojing cogeneration always upholds the development concept of "providing green energy and serving the public". the power plant vigorously carried out the work of energy saving and emission reduction, especially focusing on the exploration and pilot trials of energy saving and emission reduction potential of gas-fired units.
from 2014-2015, it invested rmb 140 million to complete the upgrading and transformation of the first gas turbine dln2.6 combustion system in asia, which reduced nox emission by 400 tons per year after the transformation.
from 2017-2018, it invested rmb 160 million to complete the first gas turbine agp renovation in china, which resulted in a 2.1% decrease in heat consumption and a 20 mw increase in output, achieving the dual effect of energy conservation and efficiency increase.
the national energy conservation publicity week this year lasts from june 29 to july 5, with the theme of "lucid waters and lush mountains, energy conservation and efficiency improvement".
