ten central media jointly interviewed sep for pollution emission control management
in the event 鈥楨ntering the new state-owned enterprise鈥?held by state-owned assets supervision and administration commission (sasac) at the publicity department of the central committee of the cpc, sep was selected as the major enterprise to give interview to media. on october 30 to 31, sep gave joint written interview to ten media, including xinhua news agency, china central television (cctv), central people's broadcasting station, people's daily online, xinhuanet, economic daily, workers daily, 21st century business herald, first financial daily and the china electric power news. the joint interview lasts two days and was the first time in the company鈥檚 history of development.
on october 30, the company held a press conference, which was attended by chairman wang yundan, general manager liu guangchi, deputy general manager guo baohong, deputy chief engineer xu shijian, and office of public relations wang cong. the persons in charge of company offices, production department, safety and environment department, shanghai caojing integrated energy co., ltd, shanghai wujing power generation co., ltd, tianji power plant and shanghai changxing island power plant. general manager liu guangchi served as the moderator at this press conference.

through detailed comparative data and charts, he introduced the specific initiatives and actual results made by shanghai electric power (sep) in stock power plant environmental transformation through 鈥榮ynergistic integration of multi-pollutant control technology鈥?and energy-saving and cost-reducing through technology innovation. he also introduced the explorations made by shanghai electric power (sep) in frontier domains of power generation, including technologies of research and application in 620 鈩價eheat steam temperature, gas turbine technology innovation, technological breakthrough in double reheat of 1000mw coal-fired units, h-class gas turbine and igcc. an overseas development mode of industrial chain driving value chain has basically formed in shanghai electric power (sep).
