sep japan company completed photovoltaic plant in south port, osaka
on may 18, 鈥楽olar power plant no.1 unit in south port, osaka鈥? a joint investment project made by shanghai electric power co.(japan) (sep japan)and japan shenhe industrial co., ltd, was completed and put into operation.
this project locates in osaka bay, close to an industry port and is the window of osaka economic business. the power plant is on the flat area with rich sunlight resources. it is said that the project consists of three phases, covering an area of 100 thousand square meters and the total generating capacity will reach 1.5 million kilowatts.
this project is the first one completed by sep japan. it is also the first photovoltaic power plant in osaka. the completion shows that sep begins its investment in japan, marking an important step toward the goal of recreating another sep overseas by 2020.
