sep 2014 mid-year working conference
the 2014 mid-year working conference was held in the waigaoqiao power plant on july 15. chairman wang yundan, president liu guangchi, vice president sun weidong, discipline inspection commission secretary and the union president wang guoliang, vice president guo baohong, xing lianzhong and xia meixing attended the conference. the meeting was hosted by sun ji.
chairman wang yundan described the operation performance of the first half year of 2014 from three aspects. firstly, we should set a common understanding and rational objective with strength confidence and overcome the difficulties we will meet. secondly, we should emancipate our thoughts: with a big picture of the overall situation and relays on innovation and fully realize the company鈥檚 restructuring and development. thirdly, it is necessary to implement the party's mass line educational practice as the driving force to create a national civilized unit and actively build sep as spiritual and material civilization company in shanghai.
wang yundan pointed out that, in the first half of this year, shanghai electric power, under the leadership of the cpi, maintained strategic concentration and adhered to the principle of "focus on development, increasing profitability, and promoting harmony growth". sep has overcome various unfavorable factors with stable increasing in profit and net profit.. the company has made breakthrough progresses in energy reduction and saving, new energy development and overseas expansion. wang yundan, on behalf of the management team, expressed the gratitude to sep staff who went to iraq with high sense of mission and responsibility for power plant operation and maintenance. sep鈥檚 subsidies and staff families fully supported this on-site mission. wang yundan also required the related units to continuously focus on staff鈥檚 living life in iraq.
wang yundan required all the party members to follow the politics and improve comprehensive capabilities with the general public. all staff should work together to complete the yearly developing objective, strengthen the inside quality and set up a good company image, and make contribution to realize the four steps strategy and the mission of build another overseas sep by 2020.
liu guangchi reported the spirits of cpi mid-year conference and summerized the sep operation and business performance in the first half of 2014. he also made developing plan for the second half year. the chief engineers and department directors attended the conference.
